Meet Our Instructors
Vicki Hagberg
Vicki is a certified BASI Pilates Instructor, an Advanced Lagree (Megaformer) trainer, and is TRX certified. She’s a lifelong athlete who has channeled her passion for fitness into helping others become strong and healthy. Previously an avid runner, Vicki gravitated to Pilates after recovering from a right knee meniscus tear and surgery. She used stretching and strengthening exercises with proper alignment to reduce stress to her knee and achieved a full recovery. In 2020, an MRI revealed a partial tear in her left meniscus, this time she was able to repair and regenerate tissue surrounding the knee with Pilates and without surgery. Vicki loves training clients of all ages, her clients age ranges from 16 to 80+ years. Be prepared for a challenging, full-body session focusing on mind-body connection and proper alignment, all while encouraging your best effort. Vicki is co-owner at Premier Pilates of Los Gatos. As a seasoned runner, she funnels that same enthusiasm into the studio, helping her clients feel their individual strength and vitality, no matter what their challenges. When Tammi is not in the studio, you can find her running, hiking, reading or spending time with her family.
Melissa Fenton
Melissa’s interest in health and fitness began in college. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BS degree in Nutrition Science and was interested in finding a lifelong solution to fitness for herself and to share with others. This led to studying Pilates, where she gained a deeper understanding of the method after completing the Pilates Comprehensive Program through Polestar Pilates. The extensive Polestar training focuses on assessing each client to build a Pilates exercise program based on individual goals and needs. She is also certified with the National Pilates Certification Program which requires continuing Pilates education and renewal every 2 years. Melissa enjoys Pilates because of the lengthening movements that improve balance, flexibility, strength and posture and loves how good her clients feel after a Pilates workout. She recently became an empty nester and is enjoying a new passion for cycling, an activity she enjoys with her husband. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends, long walks with her dog, traveling, and trips to the beach.
